Art Teachers - Riyadh (Ref: 3809)

We are looking for Art Teachers for Riyadh, which was founded in 1597. Due to continued growth, there is an outstanding opportunity for an Art Specialist Teacher (Year 5 - Year 7) to join a talented and dedicated team.

Suitably qualified and experienced candidates may have the chance subsequently to undertake a leadership or management role, and grow with the group as it expands its network of schools.

Specialist Teachers will deliver their subject to their classes, and will work closely with colleagues ensuring a collaborative approach to teaching and learning across the Year Groups. The children therefore receive the same opportunities, and all teachers feel supported by a strong team.

Each class receives support from a dedicated Teaching Assistant.

Person Specification:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

relevant Bachelor's Degree, ideally gained at a UK University
UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status
minimum of two years' relevant teaching experience, ideally
excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England
a strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the respect of pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider community
a commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students
knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice
 

Desirable skills and experience: 

an understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment
experience working with children who have English as an Additional Language
a secure knowledge of using technology to support education
