We are looking for a Head of Maths for a Private school based in Cyprus to start asap. It is a new not-for-profit international school. The school opens its doors in September 2024 for grades 1 to 9.

 

They have the International Curriculum and intend to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to meet the highest educational standards, ensuring the child receives a well-rounded and globally competitive education. They have already entered the candidacy phase as part of the IB licensing process.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in Maths/related, with a preference given to holders of a master's degree

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role at an International School is required.

In-depth knowledge of modern teaching methods.

Experience working in an international school setting is a plus.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. 

Experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is highly desirable.
